Hi everyone, my name is Tony da Roza. I’m an Experience Design Director at Electronic Arts working in the newly formed Wildcard Sports Studio. I have been in video games for 20+ years now and have spent the last 18 at Electronic Arts. Over my career, I have worked on casual games from Monsters Inc and The Simpsons, to various sports titles on various consoles… and now mobile! I lead a team of artists across various counties such as Canada, Romania, Japan and the United States, overseeing the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of multiple games. My education in Graphic Design, Motions Graphics and Digital Media led to my career in the games industry. A year ago, my good friend and colleague Jay told me about the DMA program. Since then, I have enjoyed volunteering my time in the classroom and helping to guide wherever I can. I’m constantly amazed at the work being produced by these young artists and hope to see some of them in the EA studio in the future! I look forward to meeting you at the Youth Expo and answering any questions you may have.
